The three-point program involves the employee, employer and provider. Through the use of claim and medical protocols, Care Management is designed to review appropriateness of a disability claim at the onset and throughout its duration. Clinical care managers review medical care and treatment, determine the claimant's work readiness and facilitate their timely return to work whenever possible. For claims that extend into a long-term disability, case managers develop an Individualized Action Plan for a seamless transition.
