This enables employers to reduce the amount of their sponsored disability coverage without reducing the scope of the benefit available to employees. Employees have flexible options to choose from, including the standard core/buy-up plan with one or two levels of additional disability coverage above a base plan, or optional features that provide multiple levels of coverage.
